FASCINATION STREET @ The East Room

9PM FREE TIL 10PM $5 AFTER 18+

"Fascination Street returns to The East Room on Saturday, May 16th. This time we have a special guest DJ: Count Grozny (Louisville), who will join us in celebrating decades of new, current, and classic Post-punk, Deathrock, Darkwave, and Traditional Goth.

This month's flyer pays tribute to the memory of Joy Division's Ian Curtis, on the 35th anniversary of his death in May of 1980, just prior to the release of their landmark album, "Closer." We'll pay several visits to his work throughout the night, so let us know if there's a song you would like to hear.

We will also have a photo booth set up this time, courtesy of Nick Whitson Photography!

Until then, please invite your like-minded comrades to join us, share the event page, and post any requests you might have right here.

"Procession moves on, the shouting is over
Praise to the glory of loved ones now gone"

ABOUT Fascination Street:

Plenty of classics, club favorites, and even rarities will be heard, of course, but mixed with new & current artists that carry that spirit and expand on it today -- from the intentional revivalists, to the new dark indie underwave, we bridge the past and the future.
